World News for Students of English

News in English

If you read and listen to two articles every day, your reading and listening skills can improve fast. You can learn quickly and after some time you will not have to translate into your own language. You will simply understand. Why should you do this?

How to improve your English with News in Levels:

Reading

  1. Read two news articles every day.
  2. Read the news articles from the day before and check if you remember all new words.

Listening

  1. Listen to the news from today and read the text at the same time.
  2. Listen to the news from today without reading the text.

Writing

  1. Answer the questions under today’s news and write them in the comments.
  2. Chat in our Facebook Group for 2 minutes. You can write about today’s news.

Speaking

  1. Choose one person from the Skype section.
  2. Talk with this person. You can answer questions from Speak in Levels.

KEEP SMILING

NEVER STOP EXPLORING

Do you want to take part in this new project? What are you wearing? A T-shirt?? I'm taking a photo of your cool T-shirt (with messages in English). What does your message mean???

Remember, English is everywhere!!! =)

This was my last years projects. Take a look!! Do you like these T-shirts??

To be on the level means to be honest.

Thank you everyone  for collaborating. Sorry, but I was not allowed to upload more than 30 photos (I had 70 photos) to this slideshow. Every photo after the 30th is not displayed.

Advice for the class of 2018 by Jim Royall

Last Wednesday,  Jim Royall visited our school to give 2º Bachillerato a talk about motivation (in English, of course 😉).

We want to thank Jim for giving us some advice. Do you remember them?

  • Tip1. Self investment. Put you at the top of the list and keep education and health as your number 1 priority.
  • Tip2. Have a plan. Develop and keep developing a plan of what you want from life. 1 year, 3 year, 5 year. Take only good advice.
  • Tip3. Fear nothing, respect everything. Accept change, get to know cultures, places, push your boundaries everyday.

Believe in yourself, keep exploring, add value and be who you want to be.

Thank you, class!
